Detour/Traffic

From then on09/25/23 - 01/22/24 becomes the connecting road (L94) between Altenbrak and Treseburg(official) complete blocked. A diversion is signposted.

This means that access from the B81 via Altenbrak is not possible.

When using GoogleMaps as a navigation aid, inconsistencies may occur. This app tries to guide vehicles along hiking trails. Please inform yourself in advance about the location of your travel destination.

Construction work is still taking place in Treseburg and there may be short-term disruptions caused by construction vehicles.

Bodetal hiking trail

 

From November 29, 2023, the Bodetal will be closed due to weather conditions. A diversion is signposted via the Hexentanzplatz to Treseburg. 

Danger! The path is not closed for fun. There is a very high risk of slipping in snow and ice.

The “Schurre”, the path between the Bodetal and the Roßtrappe, is also open again, but is now considered an “alpine via ferrata”. You should be able to wear good shoes and be in good physical condition when visiting the Churre.

Due to the ongoing construction work on the Hexentanzplatz Thale, the entrances to the Hexentanzplatz will be closed to traffic from Monday, September 18th, 2023. The closure is expected to last until April 2024. Visitors can reach Hexentanzplatz by cable car from Bodetal, on foot or by bus number 256 to the Hexentanzplatz junction stop (Chaussee).
